Bighit Music, is a South Korean entertainment company founded in 2005 by Bang Si-hyuk. Bighit Music is known for managing globally successful K-pop groups such as BTS, TXT and MIDNATT.

BIGHIT History:

Bighit Music started as ibighit, a small music production company in 2005 and gained recognition for its songwriting and producing abilities.

In 2013, the company debuted its first idol group, BTS, which quickly gained popularity domestically and internationally. The success of BTS propelled Bighit Music into one of the leading entertainment companies in South Korea.

In 2020, Bighit Music (Bighit Entertainment) merged with Source Music, the company responsible for managing the girl group GFRIEND, and acquired Pledis Entertainment, home to artists like NU’EST and SEVENTEEN. The merger and acquisition expanded Bighit Music’s artist and further strengthened its position in the industry.

BTS, also known as the Bangtan Boys, is one of the most successful K-pop groups worldwide. They debuted in 2013 and have achieved immense popularity, setting numerous records and winning numerous awards. BTS has a dedicated fanbase called ARMY, and their music addresses various social issues, earning them a global following.


Tomorrow X Together, is a boy group that debuted in 2019. They gained recognition for their youthful and refreshing concept, showcasing their talents in singing, dancing, and songwriting.

Lee Hyun :

Lee Hyun joined BigHit Entertainmentย  in 2010. He signed with the agency and debuted as a member of the group 8Eight, which was formed by BigHit Entertainment.


MIDNATT is the alter-ego of Korean soloist Lee Hyun.
