BTS ‘Butter’ retakes the US Billboard Hot 100 No. 1

According to the latest chart released by Billboard, an American music media, on the 7th September, BTS’ ‘Butter’ topped the single chart ‘Hot 100’.

‘Butter’ takes place in the No. 1 spot for 15th week of the ‘Hot 100’ chart showing the possiblity of making it as ‘Global Summer Song’.

BTS’ retakes the #1 spot on ‘Hot 100’ seems to have the great power with the release of the ‘Butter’ remix with Megan D. Stallion.

According to MRC Data, ‘Butter, drew 12.2 million radio airplay audience impressions and 10.7 million U.S. streams (up 110%) and sold 143,000 downloads in the week ending Sept. 2.

‘Butter’, released in May, entered the chart on June 5 and went straight to number one at the same time as it entered the chart, and took the first place for the ninth time in a row and running for seven weeks in a row. ‘Butter’, which maintained the top 10 for the 14th week and boasted of its unmelting strength, succeeded again in the 15th week and climbed to the 10th place.

As a result, BTS’ ‘Butter’ has been ranked the most number one song on the ‘Hot 100’ in 2021 for 10th times since its release in May, ranking in the top 10 for 15th consecutive weeks.
