BTS dominates the US Billboard with major songs

BTS has once again raised its global potential with the collaboration song ‘My Universe’ with Coldplay.

Billboard’s announcement on the 6th of October, BIGHIT MUSIC said that BTS had topped major US Billboard charts through major songs such as Coldplay’s collaboration ‘My Universe’.

‘My Universe’ drew 11.5 million streams in the United States alone, and recorded 5.5 million radio airplay and 127,000 downloads. It is the first time in 13 years.

In detail, BTS took the top spot on ‘Hot 100’ with the Coldplay collaboration song My Universe released on the 24th of last month, and took first place in Billboard Global 200, Billboard Global (excluding the US), Digital Song Sales, and Canadian Digital Song Sales.

According to the latest chart released by Spotify (as of September 25), the song was streamed 6,768,788 times on the first day of release, and ranked 3rd at the same time as entering the ‘Global Top 200’ chart.In particular, My Universe,  ‘Savage Love’, ‘Dynamite’ released in August last year, ‘Life Goes On’ of the album ‘BE’, digital singles ‘Butter’, ‘Permission to Dance’, are recorded number 1 on ‘Hot 100’.

BTS is once again raising its global position through major songs, starting with ‘My Universe’, a collaboration song with Coldplay.

Meanwhile, BTS became the first Korean singer to rank first on the weekly chart ‘Rolling Stone Top 100 Songs’ compiled by Rolling Stone, a famous American music magazine with ‘My Universe’.
