BTS free concert ‘Yet To Come’ in Busan

The group BTS are holding a free concert, LIVE PLAY, and online live streaming of WORLD EXPO 2030 Concert <Yet To Come> in Busan, South Korea on 15 October.

After the announcement of BTS  concert <Yet To Come> in Busan, the prices of accommodation near the concert venue are skyrocketing. Some accommodations are known to offer 10x (10 times) higher rates than usual.

Some lodging are accepting reservations at excessively high prices around mid-October.

A lodging in Gijang-gun, Busan is listed for 10 million won (USD $7.45K) for 2 nights during the concert, Which is 33 times higher than usual. As of September, (not during concert) the rate for 2 nights on at this hotel is around 300,000 won (USD $223).

On the other hand, BTS free concert ‘Yet To Come’ in Busan will be attended by 100,000 people on 15 October, 2022 it is expected a large number of fans will flock to the event venue where the concert is going to take place.

The price of lodging facilities in the East Mountain area soars to 950,000 won (USD $707) per night, and existing reservations are unilaterally canceled.

In this regard, the city of Busan said, “On the 24th August, we held the first working-level meeting with the Police Agency and the Fire Safety Headquarters and intensively checked the current issues related to the BTS free concert in Busan. We plan to allow all spectators to enter in a way so that they do not crowd all at once and disperse the crowd leaving after the concert.”

They continued, “On the day of the concert, we plan to operate a large number of urban railroads and city buses, introduce shuttle buses, completely block vehicle traffic on the narrow road from Ilgwang Station to the event site, and will allow all visitors to walk for about 15 minutes.”

Meanwhile, BTS are holding a concert in Korea after 7 months since ‘BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – SEOUL‘ was held at the Olympic Main Stadium in Seoul, South Korea in March, 2022.
