BTS J-Hope donates 100 million won to children

BTS member J-Hope donates 100 million won to the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation.

On December 31st, the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation, a representative organization for advocacy for children, announced that J-Hope, a member of the group BTS, Donates 100 million won for children from disadvantaged groups in Korea.

This donation will be used for heating expenses for children from low-income families and childcare facilities and for medical expenses for sick children.

J-Hope became the member of ‘Green Noble Club‘, starting with a donation of 150 million won to children and sick children in 2018, and provided a total of 800 million won to domestic and foreign children.

J-Hope, a member of the Green Noble Club, said, “I was worried that children who are going through a cold and lonely year-end due to the economic downturn and double hardship caused by COVID 19″ and explained the reason for the donation.

The ‘Green Noble Club‘ is a large donation group of the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation, which consists of sponsors who donate more than 100 million won at a time cumulatively, or donate 100 million won within five years.

Jimin is also a member of ‘Green Noble Club’, Jimin’s donation was announced on the morning of the 13th October (Jimin Birthday) through the announcement of the list of new members of the Green Noble Club of the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation.
