BTS: Over the Universe show at amusement park Everland will run from March 18 to Aug 23. The free 15 minutes multimedia show will feature 7 BTS global hit song’s videos, music, fireworks, lighting, special effects.
Samsung C&T Resort Group announced on the March 13th that BTS: Over the Universe show will be held every night from the 18th to 28th of August at the outdoor stage of the Four Seasons Garden.
Everland users can visit for free. Starting with this show, Everland is preparing additional performances with various HYBE artists from May.
According to HYBE, it will be the first time people will be able to experience BTS music in this way. HYBE & Everlans worked 4 months to prepare the show, which will include newly edited video from their MVs and music.
In the BTS: Over the Universe multimedia show, the 7 BTS global hit songs will be Dynamite, Butter, Permission To Dance, Dope, DNA, Spring Day & Make It Right. It will be presented with newly edited music video footage and music.
An official from Samsung C&T’s resort division said, “We expect the recent successes of the BTS Seoul concerts at Jamsil Olympic Stadium to continue into Everland. We hope that your experience with the multimedia show with BTS’s exciting songs & dances will comfort you in these difficult times with COVID.”
Everland explained that it plans to offer an overwhelming sense of immersion to the audience through a huge stage scale and state-of-the-art performance equipment. The video of BTS’s multi-media show is screened on a large LED screen with a length of 24m and a height of 11m that can be viewed anywhere in the 10,000m² Four Seasons Garden.
Various special effects such as searchlights, lasers, fires, fireworks, etc. to add splendor to the performance, are combined with the song throughout the performance. In the finale, where ‘Dynamite’, which was filmed for the music video in Everland, appears, more than 5,000 fireworks can light the night sky and decorate the end of the performance.
