The boyband BTS is now returning with an new album ‘Proof‘ that connotes their history and their fandom ARMYs are ready to rise up and support one of the most-anticipated comebacks of 2022.
BigHit Music, the management company, announced details related to BTS new album ‘Proof‘ as the teaser was released on BTS official YouTube channel and on their official social media handles at 12:00 am KST on May 5th.
The teaser celebrates every comeback BTS has had since the K-pop group founded. It ends with a look at “Proof” and the single’s visuals. And the logo for the upcoming new album ‘Proof’ stylized with the BTS logo along with the ARMY logo was also revealed in the trailer.
The management company said, “The BTS, who have been running nonstop since 2013, will celebrate their 9th anniversary in June. Thanks to ARMYs who have given us unwavering love and support.
At this moment, as we open a new chapter as an artist in our 10th year, we look back on our past activities. I decided to release an anthology album that connotes the history of BTS in order to reflect on its meaning after seeing it.”
This album is an anthology album consisting of a total of 3 CDs. It consists of colorful tracks containing the thoughts of the seven members about the past, present and future of BTS. Of these, three are new songs. “Proof” embodies that as BTS used the phrase “We Are Bulletproof” a number of times when it was a rookie. In fact, the group’s name in Korean translates to Bulletproof Boy Scouts, so the allusion here is impossible to miss.
BTS new album ‘Proof‘ will be released on June 10th at 1PM KST. It is the first album release in 1 year and 7 months since the special album ‘BE’ released in November 2020.
