Suga of BTS is releasing his first official solo album, “D-DAY.”
On the 3rd, Big Hit Music announced through the fan community Weverse, “BTS Suga will release his first official solo album “D-DAY”.
It is known that Suga’s first official album “D-DAY” contains the sincere story of ‘Agust D’ his alter ego as an artist.
SUGA album “D-DAY” marks the concluding chapter of a trilogy by SUGA’s another moniker, Agust D, succeeding the previous mixtapes, “Agust D” and “D-2.”. In response, BigHit Music added, “Please look forward to and pay attention to ‘D-DAY, the final chapter of the Agust D trilogy.”
In addition, starting with the release of the pre-release song on the 7th April, Suga album “D-DAY” will be releasing on April 21, 2023 (Friday).
Suga plans to visit fans through various contents such as documentaries and a world tour.
Suga tour will be held on the 26th and 27th, starting at Belmont Park, followed by Newark, Rosemott, Los Angeles and Auckland. It will be held in Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Seoul, and Japan to meet fans around the world.
In addition, Suga plans to release the documentary ‘SUGA: Road to D-DAY‘ through Disney+ and Weverse. The exact release date is not known, but it is expected to be released in the first half of 2023.
Last year, during a live broadcast with fans, BTS revealed their position that they would focus on individual activities rather than team activities.
Currently BTS member Jin is serving in the military, and J-Hope is the second to announce the enlistment. Accordingly, it seems that Suga, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook will also sequentially fulfill their military duty.
