The group BTS will fulfill their Mandatory Military Service, said BigHit Music.
On 17th October, BigHit Music made an announcement that the members of BTS are currently moving forward with plans to fulfill their military service. After the Yet To Come in Busan concert to support Busan’s bid for the World Expo 2030.
BigHit said it’s the perfect time and the members of BTS are honored to serve for Military service.
Individual activities of some BTS members will continue until the first half of 2023.
According to the company, BigHit Music and BTS are looking forward to resume activities as a group around the year 2025.
BTS eldest group member Jin will initiate the process as soon as his schedule for his solo release. Jin single album can release near the end of October, 2022.

In BTS Busan concert, The BTS member Jin said, “This was the last concert we are holding. Also, thinking about when we could hold a concert, I thought, ‘I have to control a lot of emotions”.
Jin received a recommendation from the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism to postpone his enlistment in accordance with the Military Service Act in 2020, and his enlistment has been postponed until the end of this year 2022.
As BTS withdraws its ‘postponement of enlistment until the age of 30′, Jin is expected to enlist as an active duty soldier as soon as a notice of enlistment is issued.
If an enlistment performer wants to go to the military before the end of the postponement period, he must submit a ‘Application for Cancellation of Enlistment Postponement’ to the Military Manpower Administration.
Jin will enlist as an active duty soldier at the Nonsan Training Center or the front-line unit recruit training center within end of the year.
