The Presidential Transition Committee will visit the headquarters of BTS agency Hybe tomorrow on 2nd April.
Ahn Cheol-soo, chairman of the transition committee, and members of the social welfare subcommittee of the Transition committee will visit BTS agency HYBE on 2nd April, to discuss the direction of the development of the Korean wave culture industry.
There is also a prospect that special plans for military service for BTS members, including amendments to the Military Service Act, may be discussed at this meeting.
However, Regarding the discussion of BTS special military service plan, the transition committee explained, “The purpose of the visit is not because of BTS special military service issue”.
Meanwhile, BTS will perform at the ‘GRAMMY AWARDS‘, the most prestigious popular music awards ceremony in the US, to be held in Las Vegas.
BTS are nominated for the ‘Best Pop Duo/Group Performance’ award with ‘Butter’ released last year. BTS will step on the Grammy stage for the first time as candidates. They was nominated for the same category last year, but was unable to participate in the awards ceremony due to the COVID-19.

The awards ceremony was scheduled to be held on January 31, but the date was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the venue was changed from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. It is the first time the Grammy Awards are held in Las Vegas since 1959, when the awards ceremony began.
