It was announced that American rapper ‘Megan Thee Stallion’ collaborated with BTS.

On the 24th, U.S. Variety reported that Megan Thee Stallion was planning to release a remix version of BTS’ ‘Butter’ this Friday, but her label 1501 Certified Entertainment and CEO Carl Crawford filed a petition in court stating that they were blocking it.

The court has ruled in favor of Megan Thee Stallion & she is clear to release her remix of ‘Butter’ with BTS

According to a document filed today with the Harris County Courthouse, Texas, Meghan Thee Stallion, under her real name, Megan Jovon Ruth Pete”, was an “emergency  relief from the Court before this Friday, August 27, 2021, to allow her new music to be released this week as previously-scheduled.”

“If she fails to release a new remixed track with BTS, her relationship with fans and other artists will be damaged, and her music career will be irreparably damaged,” they said.

Megan Thee Stallion has conflicts with her label before.  Although Megan Thee Stallion still has a contract with 1501 labels in effect, Stallion argued that blocking the release of the ‘Butter’ remix would violate the provisions of an interim injunction issued by a court last year.

Variety then reported that the judge had obtained a ruling stating that the ‘Butter’ remix could be released as scheduled.

With this reported new ruling, it seems likely that the remix track of BTS’s “Butter”, featuring Megan Thee Stallion, will be released this Friday.

Meanwhile, Meghan Thee Stallion, who was born in 1995 and is 26 years old, made her debut in 2017, and gained recognition through collaborations with a number of artists such as Cardi B, Maroon 5, Nicki Minaj, and Ariana Grande. she also won ‘Best New Artist’ at the Grammy Awards this year.
