Model and actor Jeong Ho-yeon, who played the role of ‘Sae-byeok’, a North Korean defector in the Netflix series ‘Squid Game’, has been selected as luxury brand Louis Vuitton’s new global ambassador!
Before her debut as an actress, model Jung Ho Yeon walked the runway for Louis Vuitton’s 2017 spring-summer (S/S) collection and went on to participate in the Louis Vuitton’s 2017 pre-fall collection campaign. Now, she begins a new chapter with Louis Vuitton as an actress and brand ambassador.
Meanwhile, Jung Ho-yeon started to make a name for herself by winning 3rd place in the OnStyle survival program ‘Challenge Supermodel Korea 4’ in 2013. She has been active as a model, receiving the ‘Asian Star Award’ at the ‘Asia Model Awards’ in 2019.
Louis Vuitton dropped a picture of Jung Ho Yeon where she can be seen sitting elegantly with the brand’s black handbag. The South Korean actor wore a white outfit and went for minimal makeup. Her hair is tied in a neat bun with a few hair strands hanging in front.
Jung Ho Yeon commented, “It is an honor to mark my beginnings as an actress with Louis Vuitton, whom I worked with as a model. I’m looking forward to every moment I will experience with Louis Vuitton as their global ambassador.”
Nicolas Ghesquière, creative director of Louis Vuitton’s women’s collections, shared, “I remember when I immediately fell for Ho Yeon’s outstanding talents and fantastic personality. I’m excited for the new chapter in her journey with Louis Vuitton.”
As a model, Jung Ho Yeon has participated in fashion shows for several global fashion brands.
